— “Uh, hi. Sorry, but, do I know you?”
"No. I suppose not."
As he rose, his crimson eyes came into view, and one would swear that his canines were just a ‘touch’ too sharp.
"I’m not really from anywhere. Just a traveler, passing through and seeing the sights." Jericho beckoned for the younger looking girl, who immediately hid behind the man. She looked no older than about 15, yet she acted through she were much younger, despite her very ‘Princess-like’ appearance.
"Where is it you are from?"
Laina stared right into his eyes, a bit startled. His eyes were so red. It was a different shade than Ishvalan shade. They were beautiful, like the color of red velvet silk. He himself was handsome. It made her heart skip a beat.
"O-Oh." She fiddled with her Drachman uniform skirt. "I’m doing the same. Well, actually, I’m here for more official business, but I’m also here for sight-seeing. I heard Amestris had lovely sights."
"Drachma." She replied, softly.
"What about you? How are you?"
"Hm? I’m doing alright. Thank you for asking, Nina."
"Nina, dear, why are you playing alone?"
Riza thought for a moment. She supposed that having extensive knowledge of the military was always an advantage, but she didn’t often use it.
"Well, there’s plenty that I could talk about. Is there anything in particular that you’d like me to start with?"
"Tell me what you can. Of course, there are some things you aren’t allowed to tell me, and that’s understandable. Start with the basics."
"Zia," Jericho spoke, noticing that his familiar hadn’t moved much in the last few moments. "It’s impolite to stare." He stood, looking over to the woman who had caught her attention.
He stood, smiling softly as he approached her.
"My most sincere apologize, madame." he bowed, his arm across his chest and his head low.
Laina glanced over her shoulder and saw him walking towards her. She slightly panicked. Her mind was telling her walk away, but her legs froze in place. Her curiosity was going to be going to get her killed. M-O-V-E. She thought. When the raven haired princess hear his voice, she turned her head and saw how polite he was. Despite of her rudeness, he bowed his head. She blushed and put a hand over her mouth.
"No, no. It’s alright. You don’t have to bow."
"I must apologize as well. I was wondering where you were from."
